Editorial Board

The SEE LJ has an Editorial Board which is consisted of renowned legal experts and academics coming from the SEELS network. The role of the Editorial Board is to ensure the overall quality of the journal, development and reviewing of the editorial policy of the edition, as well as the development and improvement of the SEE LJ as a publication.

The SEE LJ locates its origin in late 2012 when the overall concept, format and structure was created by Professor Peer Zumbansen, Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto and later discussed and developed by the SEELS network. It was well rounded and all-encompassing policy which envisaged this edition as a forum for academic discussion conducted on regional level on all relevant legal issues, be that of local, regional or EU provenience. The first edition of the SEE LJ was published in January 2014. In this format SEE LJ produced 3 issues, which were published by the SEELS network, with financial support of Deutsche GesellschaftfürInternationaleZusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Open Regional Fund for South East Europe-Legal Reform

In the three years of existence however, it became evident that as all living matters, the SEE LJ and its editorial policies need some rethinking and restructuring. In that sense the current Editorial Board worked on remedying the identified issues which were spotted in the past, and improving the overall process and content of the journal. In doing so, the core of the existing Editorial Policy was not changed, as it was seen as valuable and functional, and only the issues which were not applicable or had proven nonfunctional were analyzed and amended.

You can see more information and the composition of the EB of the SEE LJ bellow.
